Terms of Service (English)
Welcome to wiekomt.nl. By creating an account, publishing an event, sending an invite, or submitting an RSVP, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Service Description
wiekomt.nl provides a lightweight, privacy-focused online tool for creating event invitations, sharing links, and tracking RSVPs without requiring guests to install an app or create an account.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use wiekomt.nl only for lawful personal, community, or business event organization. You agree that you will not:
- Send unsolicited spam invitations, bulk unsolicited messages, or unauthorized commercial solicitations.
- Publish content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, hateful, obscene, or infringing upon intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Include sensitive personal data (e.g. medical data, government identifiers) in public event titles, locations, or descriptions.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or breach system security, circumvent rate limits, or disrupt platform infrastructure.
3. Host Responsibilities & Data Controller Role
- Controller for Guest Invitations: As an event host, you are the Data Controller under the GDPR for the guest lists and names you enter. You confirm that you have legitimate expectations or prior permission from individuals before creating personal invite tokens for them.
- Accuracy of Event Information: Hosts are solely responsible for the accuracy of their event details, dates, and locations.
4. Account & Content Termination
You may stop using wiekomt.nl and delete your account or events at any time through your dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, remove events, or block IP addresses that violate these Terms or threaten the security and stability of the service.
5. Service Availability ("As-Is")
wiekomt.nl is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim for high uptime and smooth operation, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or entirely error-free.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the Dutch Civil Code / Burgerlijk Wetboek), wiekomt.nl and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including event disruptions, missed communications, or data loss.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to wiekomt.nl shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal proceedings shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Algemene Voorwaarden (Nederlands)
Welkom bij wiekomt.nl. Door een account aan te maken, een evenement te publiceren, uitnodigingen te versturen of een RSVP in te dienen, gaat u akkoord met deze Algemene Voorwaarden.
1. Omschrijving van de dienst
wiekomt.nl biedt een eenvoudige en privacyvriendelijke online tool voor het organiseren van evenementen, het delen van uitnodigingslinks en het bijhouden van RSVP's zonder dat gasten een app hoeven te downloaden of een account hoeven aan te maken.
2. Toegestaan gebruik
U stemt ermee in wiekomt.nl uitsluitend te gebruiken voor rechtmatige doeleinden. Het is uitdrukkelijk niet toegestaan om:
- Ongevraagde spamberichten, bulkuitnodigingen of ongeoorloofde commerciële acquisitie te versturen.
- Inhoud te publiceren die onrechtmatig, lasterlijk, bedreigend, hatelijk, aanstootgevend is of inbreuk maakt op intellectuele eigendoms- of privacyrechten.
- Bijzondere persoonsgegevens (zoals medische gegevens of BSN) op te nemen in openbare titels, locaties of beschrijvingen van evenementen.
- De beveiliging van het platform te omzeilen, rate limits te forceren of de infrastructuur te verstoren.
3. Verantwoordelijkheid van de organisator (Host)
- Verwerkingsverantwoordelijke voor uitnodigingen: Als organisator bent u op grond van de AVG de verwerkingsverantwoordelijke voor de gastenlijst en namen die u invoert. U verklaart gerechtigd te zijn om deze personen uit te nodigen.
- Juistheid van gegevens: De organisator is zelf verantwoordelijk voor de juistheid van de verstrekte evenementinformatie, tijdstippen en locaties.
4. Beëindiging van accounts en evenementen
U kunt het gebruik van wiekomt.nl op elk gewenst moment beëindigen en uw account of evenementen direct verwijderen via het dashboard. Wij behouden ons het recht voor om accounts of evenementen die deze voorwaarden schenden te blokkeren of te verwijderen.
5. Beschikbaarheid van de dienst ("As-Is")
wiekomt.nl wordt geleverd op "as is" en "as available" basis. Hoewel wij streven naar optimale beschikbaarheid en prestaties, kunnen wij niet garanderen dat de dienst altijd foutloos of zonder onderbreking zal functioneren.
6. Beperking van aansprakelijkheid
Voor zover maximaal toegestaan onder toepasselijk Nederlands recht (waaronder het Burgerlijk Wetboek), is wiekomt.nl niet aansprakelijk voor indirecte schade, gevolgschade, gederfde winst of schade als gevolg van gemiste evenementen of communicatiestoringen.
7. Toepasselijk recht en bevoegde rechter
Op deze overeenkomst en het gebruik van wiekomt.nl is uitsluitend Nederlands recht van toepassing. Eventuele geschillen zullen worden voorgelegd aan de bevoegde rechter te Amsterdam, Nederland.
